వెన్నల చుక్కలు

ఆకాశమే వచ్చి,
కింద పడిన వెన్నెల చుక్కలన్నీ,
తిరిగి కావాలని అడిగింది,
మహా సముద్రాలు వెతికాను,
నదులను వెతికాను,
కొలనులు వెతికాను,
అన్ని చేపలను అడిగాను,
కానీ కనిపించలేదు,
ఏవి ఆ చుక్కలు అని అడిగితే ,
అదిగో అని నిన్ను చూపించి,
తిరిగి ఇమ్మని అడిగింది,
నువ్వు అందెగత్తెవని తెలుసు,
కానీ నీవే ఆ వెన్నల అని గ్రహించలేకపోయాను,
ఇది తెలిసి ఎలా ఇస్తాను నిన్ను ఎలా ఇస్తాను ....

The sky asked me to return all the dripping drops of moonlight,
I searched the whole ocean,
all rivers,
all the ponds,
I asked every fish,
I reached the depths of the water,
But couldn't help finding,
I asked the sky where do those drops are found,
it pointed to you,
I know you are the most beautiful,
but never realized that you are the missing drops of moonlight,
Knowing this I am not sending you back,
and we stay close as always...


आसमान ने मुझसे चांदनी की सभी टपकती बूंदों को लौटाने को कहा,
मैंने सारा समंदर ढूंढ लिया,
सभी नदियाँ,
सारे तालाब,
मैंने हर मछली से पूछा,
मैं पानी की गहराई तक पहुँच गया,
लेकिन खोजने में मदद नहीं कर सका,
मैंने आसमान से पूछा वो बूंदे कहाँ मिलती हैं,
इसने आपको इशारा किया,
मुझे पता है कि तुम सबसे खूबसूरत हो लेकिन कभी महसूस नहीं किया कि तुम चांदनी की गायब बूंदों हो,
यह जानकर मैं तुम्हें वापस नहीं भेज रहा हूँ,
और हम हमेशा की तरह करीब रहते हैं...
