ఎలా గాలి తాకినా కదిలే చిగురుటాకు కాను నేను, ఒక దిశలో తాకితే తప్ప పలకని వేణువు నేను, ఒక దిశలో తాకితే తప్ప పలకని మొండి వేణువు కాను నేను, ఏ దిశలో తాకినా సంతోషంగా పలికే లేత చిగురుటాకును...

I am not a tender leaf  

That sways with the wind,  

Touching in any direction.  

I am the flute  

That responds only when  

The air flows just right.  

I am not as stubborn as the flute  

That waits for the perfect breath.  

I am like the tender leaf  

That dances joyfully  

With the touch of air in any direction...

సంద్రానికి ఆకు నీడ

ఆకును విసిరేసి సముద్రానికి నీడనివ్వచ్చు అనుకోవడం మూర్ఖత్వం, ఆ మేఘం కూడా నీడను ఇవ్వలేదు కేవలం ఆకు ఎలా ఇవ్వగలదు, సముద్రమంత విశాలమైన నీ మనసులో నా ప్రేమ ఒక ఆకంత, అయినా కూడా ఎన్నో మేఘాలు అందించే నీడ కంటే నా నీడనే ఎక్కువ ఆస్వాదిస్తున్నావు, నన్ను నీకు అర్పించుకోవడం తప్ప ఇంక నేనేమి చేయగలను....

I am foolish to think that just by throwing a leaf, shadow can be provided to the ocean; but even a cloud can't do, how a leaf can. My love is just a leaf in your oceanic heart. Yet, you enjoy its shadow more than the cloud's, so what else I can do except surrendering myself..

పక్షి నేల వాలితే తిరిగి ఎగిరి కొమ్మను అందుకోగలదు, ఆకు నేల వాలితే తిరిగి కొమ్మను చేరుకోలేదు, రెక్కలు కట్టి పక్షిలా మారు, ఒకే కొమ్మకు ఆకులా ఉండి తిరిగి ఎగరలేక వాలిపోకు...

If a bird falls to the ground, it can fly back to a branch; If a leaf falls to the ground, it cannot reach the branch again. In the same way, get wings and become like a bird, do not remain like a leaf on the branch of a tree that cannot fly back..
