ఏ జాతి తేనెటీగకి ఇంత నేర్పు ఉందో తెలియట్లేదు,

తేనెపట్టు చెట్టుకే కాదు కడుపులోనూ ఉంటుందని నిన్ను చేతికి తీసుకున్నాక తెలిసింది,

సమయం గడిచేకొద్దీ ఈ తేనెపట్టు నవ్వుల తేనెలూరిస్తూ మరింత పెరుగుతోంది...

I wonder what kind of bee could be so skilled,

To build a honeycomb, not in a tree, but within one's belly.

I only realized this when I held you in my hand.

As time passes, this honeycomb fills with honeyed laughter, growing ever larger...

అందరిపై మబ్బునున్న చినుకులు పడుతుంటే, నాపై తేనె చుక్కలు కురిశాయి, ఏ తేనెటీగ నింగిలో తేనెపట్టు పెట్టిందో, ఆ తేనె రుచుల కన్నా నాకు ఆ తేనెటీగ పైన మనసు మళ్లింది...

While misty drizzle soaked everyone, drops of honey landed on me. I couldn't tell which bee built a hive in the sky, but my heart searched for that bee more fervently than for the sweetest honey...
