పడవను కట్టే దారము

పడవను ఒడ్డున ఉంచే దారంలా నిన్ను నా హృదయానికి కట్టనివ్వు, ఇద్దరము కలిసి ఎగసిపడే ఆ అలలను ఆస్వాదిస్తాము , కానీ నువ్వు వెళ్ళిపోతే నన్ను ఎవ్వరు పట్టించుకోరు, దూరమౌతూ మాయమౌతుంటే నువ్వు గాలికి ఊగుతూ వేలాడుతున్న దారంలా మిగిలిపోవాలి నేను.. 

Let me be the cord that holds you tight to my heart like the thread ties the boat to the shore. Together, we'll watch the waves reach the land. But when you leave, I'll be cast away, For none will care to make me stay, Like the thread that's left to dangle and sway, As the boat drifts afar and fades away..
