మధురామృతాలను పంచే కల్పవృక్షము నీ అధరము,

పంచభక్ష పరమాన్నాలు వడ్డించగల కంచమే నీ అధరము,

మనసు చేరడానికి అడ్డుగా వేసిన కంచనే నీ అధరము,

మాటలను చిలికి వెన్నను వడ్డించే ఆ కవ్వమే నీ అధరము,

వాటి అచ్చు తగిలితే చాలు విచ్చుకునే చూపులలోని ప్రాణమే నీ అధరము,

చలిని మరిపించి వెచ్చనీ తాపమిచ్చే ఆ కంబళి నీ అధరము..
