ఎగిరే గాలిపటానికి చులకన అయ్యాను నేను కింద ఉన్నందుకు, తనను ఎగురవేసింది నేనే అని మరచి, నింగితో సావాసం చేసింది తారకై అక్కడే ఉండిపోయింది....

I was disregarded by the soaring kite because I was on the ground while it was flying high, forgetting that it was I who made it fly. It mingled with the sky and stayed there, turning into a star..

उड़ते हुए पतंग ने मुझे नज़रअंदाज़ कर दिया क्योंकि मैं जमीन पर था जबकि वह ऊंची उड़ रही थी, यह भूल गया कि मैंने ही इसे उड़ाया था। यह आसमान में मिल गया और वहीं रह गया, एक तारे में बदल गया।
